A Fond Farewell from Executive Director, Willow Jade Norton
Dear AJT Community,
As you have heard, I will be stepping down from my role as your Executive Director. As much as I have enjoyed leading the organization, my focus needs to be on my family.
It has been an honor to be in-community with so many amazing artists, doing important work. I have loved getting to listen and facilitate, building programs that meet your needs and curiosities.
I am inspired by AJT’s mission and believe in it now more than ever. As a Jewish theatre artist, this community is crucial; I will continue to support work through the lens of promoting and preserving Jewish Theatre – as much as possible!!
Thank you for your creativity, generosity, innovation, and belief that theater can make the world a better place. This shift makes space for new ideas and growth for the organization. AJT is special and I know that the Board cares deeply for the work and the community. You are in good hands. I invite you to consider putting some more skin in the game: with your time, dollars, skill sets, energy…the organization is evolving to meet this next moment (as AJT always has) and I encourage you to join the exciting movement.
I am cheering you all on, and excited to see what beautiful things come next.
